A peek into what we teach

Grade 2

Fluently add and subtract within 100, understand place value up to 1,000, solve one- and two-step word problems, measure and compare lengths, represent and interpret data with bar graphs and pictographs, work with 2D shapes

Each grade level focuses on skills aligned with Common Core standards, ensuring your child gains the confidence, self-reliance, and self-efficacy they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Grade 3

Master multiplication and division facts within 10, add and subtract fractions with like denominators, solve problems involving area and perimeter, interpret data using charts and line plots, develop strategies for multi-digit addition and subtraction, rounding numbers

Grade 4

Multiply and divide multi-digit numbers, add and subtract mixed numbers and fractions with like denominators, simplify and multiply fractions, convert decimals and fractions, understand decimals to tenths and hundreths, measure angles, find perimeter, area and circumference

Grade 5

Perform operations with decimals to hundredths, multiply and divide fractions, add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators, understand volume and measure solid figures, graph points on a coordinate plane, analyze patterns and relationships

Grade 6

Understand ratios and rates and solve related problems, understand positive and negative integers, write, evaluate, and simplify expressions, solve one-step equations and inequalities, find area, surface area, and volume, work with algebra concepts and algebraic expressions

Grade 7

Use proportional reasoning (fractions, decimals, percents, scale drawings), apply operations to rational numbers (positive and negative), solve problems with linear expressions and equations, analyze and solve geometric problems involving area, volume, and angles, work with probability and statistics to compare data sets, develop deeper algebraic thinking (multi-step equations, inequalities)

Confidence, self-efficacy, and self-reliance

In a typical classroom, some students thrive while others may feel disengaged if lessons are too easy or too hard. And some children hesitate to speak up. But at MEGA MATH™, low pressure, small group activities, and personalized coaching, helps encourage every child to particpate, build confidence, develop self-reliance, and strengthen self-efficacy.
